In February 2025 we provided the homeowner of a private residence in the Wesley Chapel, FL HOA community with an initial landscape estimate, then collaborated until April to fine-tune the design and budget; all materials arrived in the last week of April, allowing installation to proceed over four workdays in May. Because the HOA mandates that at least 60 percent of any new fence be softened by plant material, the client decided to transform the requirement into a focal design element that would elevate curb appeal while remaining low-maintenance. We created a layered planting plan that looks attractive from both the street and the interior of the property, centering on a rhythmic line of Adonidia (Christmas) palms underplanted with holly, flax lily, and cordyline to deliver year-round texture and color.

Our crew removed the existing turf and roughly 3.5 inches of soil, hauled away debris, installed weed-barrier fabric secured with lawn staples, and laid a drip-line system to ensure efficient irrigation and healthy establishment. After positioning the plant material, we applied a finish layer of mini pine-bark mulch for a clean appearance, moisture retention, and additional weed suppression. Florida’s typical spring pattern of heat punctuated by sudden rain demanded flexible scheduling and careful task sequencing, but the project stayed on track and the site remained safe throughout.

The completed landscape fully satisfies HOA coverage rules, introduces a balanced tropical aesthetic, and boosts both property value and visual appeal. The homeowner was delighted with the result and appreciated the collaborative process that kept the final design aligned with their vision and budget.
